PUBLIC NOTICE: On Aug. 14, 2013, the prosecutor's accusing witnesses did not show-up for Nathan Bright's trial (Case 13-CR-01509), but judge Barry Willett still did not dismiss the case, but is keeping Nathan in jail (LMDC). In addition, LMDC is refusing to give Nathan his papers filed in court by his father, Michael Bright, another violation of his human rights.

A Father's Notice of Affidavits; The Nathan Bright Case

Update: As of Mar. 11, 2014, Nathan Bright remains incarcerated by the Jefferson County court.

Nathan Bright is latest young man reporting being railroaded by the Jefferson County court system. Officials there are desperate to sell the Louisville Metro Jail to private interests, and so people are being scammed-on left-&-right.

On July 24, 2013, Nathan was beatened on his cell block by inmates brought-in from another section of the jail, because he refuses to plea guilty, and where the evidence below conflicts with the false charges.

Nathan's father, Michael Bright (Mr. Bright) reported that Nathan was beat-up on his cell block on or about July 24, 2013. We believe because Nathan refuses to plea guilty in his case. While sleeping he was covered with sheets, and taken to where the cameras were not in view, and beatened while covered by the sheets. The attackers, did not strike his face. – Nathan was taken to the infirmary and moved to solitary confinement. – His fellow inmates say the attackers were not from his cell block, but were let-in from another area of the jail.

Mr. Bright also reports the Metro jail takes about 40% of his money each week that he sends for Nathan’s phone and commissary accounts.

Here again, court clerks have issued a criminal case number in Nathan's case, 13-CR-01509, without an actual Complaint (charges) filed in court by County Attorney Mike O'Connell. As of Mar. 11, 2014, he remains under false imprisonment.
